Came Back Wrong
Came Back Wrong is about what happens when someone returns after you’ve already started learning how to live without them.
Their return can feel like the answer to every question you were left carrying. Maybe they finally understand. Maybe losing you changed them. Maybe this time they’ll choose you differently. But sometimes someone comes back without bringing the honesty, growth, commitment, or accountability that would’ve made the relationship different. They return, but the pattern returns with them.
These songs follow that second heartbreak: letting hope back in, realizing they came back wrong, discovering the truths that changed what their return meant, grieving the relationship all over again, and finally understanding that someone coming back isn’t the same thing as someone being ready to stay.
